María is a Colombian Industrial Engineer from the University of Miami, born and raised in Colombia, hence her knowledge and interest in Coffee.

Boris is an Ecuadorian Mechanical Engineer from Georgia Institute of Technology with a big passion for watches.

Maria and Boris have perfected their knowledge of both areas and now are looking forward to sharing them with the public.

WE ARE EXCITED FOR THE PROJECTS TO COME AND TO WELCOME YOU ALL TO OUR COMMUNITY OF COFFEE & WATCHES!

Coffee & Watches is an idea that merged from both of their passions – Coffee from Maria’s Colombian heritage and watches that have been one of Boris’ growing interests that links back to his mechanical engineering background. For them, this was the right recipe to combine art and science.

Fascinated with the undeniable science that goes into growing the perfect coffee bean and the pleasure caused by the diverse and delicate notes of an exquisite cup of a specialty coffee, they understood that for luxury watches it was not any different. They admire the mechanics aligning all the components to make a functional time piece and the art involved in the design to perfection of a luxury time piece.

Here at Coffee & Watches, our objective is to offer specialty coffee not as a drink but as an experience. We want to enhance coffee as a vessel to enjoy “your moment” and have time of introspection of what matters the most in life.

Coffee & Watches plans to educate the market by engaging with customers on interesting discussions, bringing market updates, meetings, events, and workshops about both worlds. To promote a knowledgeable niche of customers that would lead to a larger community for both markets.
